"Peggy Lee Eisnaugle, aka “Grandma Piggy,” passed away on April 29, 2024, at the age of 84.
Born on August 18, 1939, Peggy was the daughter of Maybell and Herbert Fairchild. She grew up in Portsmouth, Ohio, and attended Portsmouth High School.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Thomas Eisnaugle, “Tom,” on June 16, 2022. Peggy and Tom shared 47 beautiful years of marriage!
Originally from Canal Winchester, Ohio, Peggy and Tom were proud owners of the “Iron Nail Antiques and Collectibles," while Tom managed “Tom’s Auto Clinic.” Peggy also served as a dedicated member of the Canal Winchester City Council from 2000 to 2008. In 2010, they relocated to Citrus Springs, Florida, and Peggy later moved to Greensboro, NC in 2023.
She is survived by her brother, Marty Fairchild; and children: Jodi McKinley, Lora Jill Lestina, Jayma Baumeier, Sherry Blissenbach and Thomas Eisnaugle, along with their respective families. Peggy leaves behind seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Shade’s Restaurant in Canal Winchester, Ohio, beginning at 5:00 pm, where friends and family can gather to honor Peggy and Tom’s remarkable lives and legacies.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or Peggy’s charity, St. Jude’s Hospital, in her memory.
Peggy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her love and spirit will live on in our hearts forever."
