Johnny D Handy

Johnny passed away at Moses Cone Hospital , July 25, 2024.  Johnny was preceded in death by his wife, Kay M. Handy, his brother Ivon Handy, one sister Cora Stewart, and a nephew Andy Stewart, " granddaughter, Stacie Predue and Austin Dean.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Handy and grandson Christopher Barnes of the home, and his daughter Tonya W. Harrell, grandson  Jesse Harrell, Granddaughter , Denise White of Daytona Beach , FL, his daughter Tera Hendren Maher, of Ruffin ,NC, Nephew Robin Stewart, of Cherokee Shores ,AL, Nephew Tommy Handy, Melissa of Greensboro , NC, niece Dena Dean and Marty of Greensboro, NC , sister-in-law, Judy Hand, of Greensboro and many great nephews.

Johnny was a mechanic by trade , he enjoyed racing Cars, he spent many years working on cars as well as driving them and rebuilding them. 

Johnny loved his family and many of his friends . A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time and date. Thank You.
