James "Pee Wee" Gilmer

James Linwood Gilmer, lovingly known as "Pee Wee", was the 10th child of Melzer and Douglas "Shug" Gilmer . Born on February 3, 1948, he embraced life full until his passing on December 6,2024, at Beacon Place , surrounded by his devoted companion, Tamela Brown.   

Pee Wee is preceded in death by his parents , 4 sisters and 4 brothers. He is survived  by his  loving companion , Tamela Brown , his cherished  daughter, Angela Graves, his brother , Douglas M. Gilmer (Carolyn), his sisters, Marcia Gilmer Wright (John) and Lee Gilmer Jeffers (Earl); his lifelong best friend, Jerry Flack; special daughters, Trina and Sharon and  a vast network of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who will forever honor his memory.  

   Celebration of   Life will be   Friday , December 13,2024   Visitation 12:00-12:30pm   at Power House Of Deliverance Garden Cathedral  1800 Willow Road, Greensboro NC  27401,  Bishop William L Washington
