Dolores W (Showman) Samuels

Dolores ''Dee'' Samuels, 71, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at Beacon Place, Greensboro, NC. Dolores was born in Washington, D.C. to the late William and Verdie Showman. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harold Ray Samuels and her nephew Justin Showman.

Surviving are her brothers Bill Showman (Julie) and Jimmy Showman (Marcie), Children: Denice Childress (David), Janet Combs, Elizabeth Fulk (Tommy), six grandchildren: Lee, Christina, Jacob, Bridget, Kimberly, Cody, six great-grandchildren:Emily, Joshua, Noah, Hadley, Sawyer, Harper. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions a private family and close friends (50 max) memorial service will be held at Triad Baptist Church, 4515 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC on Saturday, June 13th at 10:15 a.m.

Social distancing will be observed, temperatures taken at the door, and facial coverings optional. Flowers can be sent to Regional Memorial Cremations at 1017 Arnold Street, Greensboro , NC 27105, who is assisting the Samuels Family, or preferably, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care 2500 Summit Ave  Greensboro, N.C 27405
