Charles "Taye "Taye" Sneed

Charles "Taye Taye" Sneed was born July 12, 1991, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina, and passed away on June 9, 2025. 

Charles graduated from Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, and worked various jobs. Charles was a real go getter due to having a very high independence level. 

A few years ago, Charles introduced us to "Taye Taye" after revealing that he was transgendered and she became the life of the party. Taye Taye had a smile that would brighten the most rainy or cloudy day. 

Taye Taye loved those of us who loved her and would be on standby to help anyone in their time of need. Taye Taye had sparkling eyes that brought comfort, peace, laughter, good times, and she had an unexplainable gift of making the pain go away. Taye Taye be missed immensely. But God had something else for her to do. 

Taye Taye is survived by her father, Charles Sneed Jr., her mother, Lisa Richardson, her sisters, Candice R. Bass, Mary Elizabeth Richardson, brother Lamarius Curtis, uncles Johnnie Richardson and Donnie Richardson, paternal grandmother, Cookie Sneed, aunt, Charlene Sneed, and cousin, Anthony Sneed.
