Laurence Sheffield Berrow

Mr. Laurence Sheffield Berrow- affectionately Know as "Berrow or "LB,''  was born August 5,1955 in Tylertown Mississippi to the late Charlene Dean Berrow and Horace Williams. He passed away on Saturday November 30,2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Health at the age of 64 years old. He leaves to cherish his memories: three daughters-Olympia Strange(Eden NC), Geneva Phillips-Walker (Greensboro, NC) and Taylor Phillips (Mayodan, NC); two sons- Laurence Sheffield Berrow and Frank Gordon; two step daughters- Charlotte Malette (Cary, NC) and Rev. Angela D. Brown; his Grandchildren: Laurence S. Berrow, Majar Berrow, Tamia Philips , Levar & Khyah Strange and Spencer Walker; his brothers: William Dean, Mark Williams and Charles Berrow; a friend for life : Ruth Little; and a host of nieces, nephews,cousins and friends. Laurence loved the game of Chess and was a ''Master'' at it, in his own right. His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday , December 7,2019 at Christ Temple CME Church 2935 N Glenn Ave Winston-Salem NC 27105. The Family visitation : 1:00pm- 1:30pm and the Memorial Service will begin at 1:30pm . In honor of Laurence being a die-heart Washington Redskins Football Fan; the family will be in Redskins Jerseys or colors; feel free to do so as well.
