Emma Zook Obituary

Emma Jean Nichols Horsefield Zook , (83) Died on Tuesday, May 08,2018 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. She was born in High Point NC to Panco and Mary (Cox) Nichols on October 3,1934.

Emma Jean will be lovingly remembered by her children Robin(Linda) Horsefield, Mary Linthicum and Daisy Horsefield. Grandchildren Robbie, Jennifer (William),Steven (Mandy), Emma, Mary, 6 great grandchildren and her sisters Jackie Canoy and Marjorie Farlow.

Emma Jean was preceded in death her parents Panco and Mary (Cox) Nichols, Aunt Ruth Cox, husbands Jack Horsefield and Gene Zook, brothers Austin and Frank Nichols and son-in-law Pat Linthicum.

Emma Jean attended Guilford College and graduated from High Point University . She was a loving and dedicated teacher for Randolph County Schools for 40 years.

A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 12,2018 at Cedar Square Friends Meeting.
